VALLEY REGIONAL PARK CAMPGROUND

The Valley Regional Park is one of Saskatchewan’s most popular Regional Parks. Situated in the heart of the Valley area it was voted as the top Regional Park to visit in the Prairies North Magazine reader’s poll in 2009. Young and old alike, will find this Family Orientated Park an excellent place to stay for an afternoon, a day, or a week.

The park has always been lauded for its beautifully landscaped grounds. Children and families will love the large green space, creative playground and picnic areas which includes a 100′ long Zip Line, 80′ slide, toddlers corner, and numerous toys.  The Town of Rosthern only 1 km away has a swimming pool for the whole family to enjoy on those hot Saskatchewan summer days.

The Campground consists of 79 total campsites. Most of the sites are electrical, well treed, level and made large enough for the new trailers. You can go tour our campground map and get a detailed look at each site for reference when you make your reservations. The campground includes a modern washroom facility, potable drinking water, sewer dump, and firewood ($8/bundle).

The Town of Rosthern, located approximately 1km South of the park, provides a full range of services and shopping facilities to its residents and many tourists that visit the area each year. The ever-popular Farmers Market also runs every Friday throughout the summer months.

Your stay would not be complete if you did not visit the numerous tourist attractions and Historic Sites nearby. The Station Arts Theater in Rosthern provides a unique cultural experience with the main Attraction always being the very popular Summer Theater Productions. Also located nearby is the Seager Wheeler Farm where Dr. Seager Wheeler grew wheat that won five world championships, an unprecedented feat in the history of Western Canada. Also located within 20 minutes of the park is the Batoche National Historic Site and Fort Carlton, which were the main areas where the Riel Rebellion of 1885 was fought.
